QUALIFICATIONS
(one of the following
requirements must be met) |
| (1)
Those who have received 12 years
of school education outside Japan, and have completed
secondary education |
| (2
)Attend a year of "University Preparatory Course" at
one of the authorised Japanese langauge institutions
for students from countries where school education
is 10 or 11 years only |
| (3)Those
certified as having, with respect to professional
training college admission, academic ability at
least equivalent to that of a high school graduate |
| (4)Those
who are certified by a professional training college's
individual qualification assessment process as having
academic ability at least equivalent to that of
a high school graduate and are at least
18 years old |
| (5)Those
who have studied Japanese for at least 6
months at a Japanese-language institute
accredited by the Association for the Promotion
of Japanese Langauge Education and authorised
by the Ministry of Justice |
| (6)Those
who have passed Level N1 or N2 of
the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) |
| (7)Those
who have received at least one year of education
in elementary, junior high or senior high schools
in Japan |
| (8)Those
who scored 200 or more in the subject
of "Japanese as a Foreign Language"
(in categories of Reading Comprehension, Listening
Comprehension and Listening and Reading Comprehension)
in Examination for Japanese University Admission
for International Students (EJU) |

COMPLETING COURSES |
| Graduation
is determined by results in end-of-semester and
end-of-year examinations in addition to attendance |

Besides,
students must also complete the course that satisfy
the following three requirements for obtaining the
"diploma" qualification

length of course ranges from one year up to four
years, with most courses offering two years. Courses
