of Eligibility” document. The COE
document is issued by a Regional Immigration
Bureau in Japan. Through this method,
in principle, make student visa issuance procedures
easier and quicker compared to without COE document.

Once
you have applied and admitted to an institution in Japan,
the institution will send Certificate of Acceptance and
prescribed documents for application for a Certificate
of Eligibility

You
need to submit all necessary documents to institution
in Japan which acts as your proxy for the application
of C.O.E.

At
the same time you need to arrange to send tuition fees
through T/T remittance to the institution in Japan.

The
institution in Japan will arrange to send “Letter
of Admission” upon receiving the T/T remittance
as well as applying for your C.O.E. document at the Regional
Immigration Bureau in Japan.

Institution
in Japan will send the C.O.E. by registered mail to your
postal address in Malaysia once the application is approved
and the C.O.E. is issued. In general, it will take approximately
a month for the issuance of C.O.E.

the C.O.E. documant along with your passport to the Japanese
Embassy or Consulate for application for a student visa
and the student visa should be issued within 3 working
days.
