In 2022, Rikkyo University launched a new undergraduate degree program for international students called the PEACE Program*. The PEACE Program with three majors: Intercultural Communication, Global Liberal Arts Program, and International Business Law, all conducted in English. The PEACE Program accepts online applications based solely on document reviews. No written exams, interviews, or trips to Japan for taking exams are required. We have received applications from various countries including Malaysia.

We have established scholarship programs for international students to help you focus on your studies at Rikkyo University. We offer the Rikkyo Promising Future Scholarships (RPFS) for which you can apply for at the time of admissions. Scholarship availability will be notified at the announcement of admission result. We also offer Rikkyo Exceptional Student Scholarship (RESS) for which you can apply from your second year. In addition to the RPFS and the RESS, Rikkyo University offers a variety of other scholarships for international students.

As for graduate schools, the Graduate School of Business offers the Master in International Business Degree (MIB), and the Graduate School of Intercultural Communication offers a TESOL Program, both of which are conducted entirely in English and lead to English-language degrees.

At our university, you’ll have the chance to connect with students from diverse countries and regions worldwide. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to interact with Japanese and international students through our vibrant Global Lounge, over 200 clubs and circles, and your classes.
